It's all so beautiful! What great photos! KQED was doing a fund raiser today and had Rick Steves on... a full day of Italy. You will have a fabulous time there. In Rome he stayed at Hotel Oceania. He recommended Parkese Gardens, St. Peter's Basilica, the Spanish Steps. We watched the show on Naples & Pompeii and the 30-minute hike up Mt. Vesuvius (active steam vents and all). I'm so glad you kids are experiencing this first hand! We took Mykayla to Round Table Pizza tonight... Dad said, see... this is almost like Italy! :-)

I'm so glad that you are having a fantastic time. My sister and I too got lost in the Louve. I love that mueseum I could spend forever in there. I enjoyed Paris over London. I think London was amazing, however Paris was more international. I love conversing with people from other countries and hearing other peoples conversations, even though I have no idea what they are saying. When we went up to the Effiel, in the elevator alone there was at least eight different dialects. I'm so jealous the weather looks amazing, last Wednesday in Paris it was 54 degress. I was freezing. On a positive note the euro is worth more than the pound. I turned in 200 hundred American dollars and got 89 pounds. I look forward to reading your blogs during summer school. Oh yea, our tour guide kept telling us to stay away from the gypsies.
